The cost of the procedure is usually covered under health insurance so make sure you check with your insurance plan. If you are uninsured, then you will want to talk to the doctor to see how much the procedure will cost. Normally the cost will fluctuate depending on a number of factors. The fees will depend on the anesthesia, medications, fees and overhead of the procedure. Normally the recovery period can last over a week, however if there are complications it can last longer.

If done correctly, then you will be happy with your new skin. There is no need to allow cancer to affect the way you look so make sure you investigate all of your options and choose one.
